Albert Carey Project: "Ten Cents Short of a Dime" - Backed by an arsenal of excellent musicians, Albert Carey, a veteran performer and former member of the Mick Ronson Band, sticks to his 70's roots and delivers us a bag full of crisp Classic Rock and Blues. Enuff Said! John Schrader: "From Discontent" - Count them 16, I said 16 songs !!!! John Schrader shots a load and a half with this marathon performance, where he not only plays all the instruments, and all sings all the vocals, but also wrote, arranged, and produced this project. Geez, my brain is about to explode thinking about it. Who knows how long it took John to give birth to "From Discontent", but one thing for sure I tip my hat to him for the effort. WOW! Deep River Meltdown: DEMO CD - 4 songs, 4 piece band, a case of let's not over do it and DRM did just that. Good production, sound musicianship, printed lyrics, and a cool cd cover. Hopefully, these guys will treat us with a little more next time.
