Pipe Bomb: “Half Price Beaten” - Goddamn!!! Do you want to feel it ? I did and so should you. With their dual seven string assault, Time Bomb presents us with a gut wrenching inner pounding music that anyone would want to experience during those special moments in life. These lads from Pough town “ Lit a proverbial match under my arse” (as per their liner notes). Their style has been described as alternative metal to which I agree with totally. This 5 song demo CD is a must for all true music lovers. If this is the future of Rock and Roll then I’ll be able to retire a very happy man. Now let me go back and crank up the volume for some more. Sorry, neighbors! Bottle of Smoke: Self Titled Demo CD - Can a band that is not a band be called “the greatest band you never heard of”? The answer is yes ! These self proclaimed “misfit toys” have evolved from a series of seven previous projects. They combine the exceptional vocals/bass of Nina Lava, with F. Scott Rose’s writing and guitar skills, and topped off with the multi-talented Jeff Gordon. This demo is well produced and the songs are lined up just right for your listening pleasure.
